Responsibilities
Participate in battery teardown and failure analysis, identify top warranty drivers and interface with OE Customer Base and JCI Commercial & Operations teams on warranty reduction roadmap and corrective action plans.
Coordinating customer warranty report outs that include warranty trend summaries and operations input on continuous improvement actions
Provide OE warranty oversite thorough efficient Warranty Claim Validation, Warranty Data Mining and Statistical Analysis and provide quality assurance support in developing, coordinating, analysis and reporting of customer warranty data throughout the value stream
Interface across functional operations teams to identify and develop mitigation strategies to proactively improve ongoing warranty performance.
Extract and perform advanced statistical analysis on all available warranty related data.
Identify, investigate, and report anomalies, spikes, high cost areas out-of-line with the goal of reducing warranty cost
Develop data system and utilize methods to collect, query and analyze customer warranty data (including Customer 0km ppm and Warranty data) from multiple sources into consolidated reporting structure that can be used for cross-functional improvement activities
Monitor and report on a regular basis the customer data providing insight from the analysis as an input into the corrective action and continuous improvement efforts
Provide expertise in statistical methodology/concepts and problem solving to support operations and perform data analysis using predictive modeling capabilities
Partner with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations, and uses warranty data analysis techniques to predict how products will behave in our market if changes in design or commercial practices are modified
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in related field (Quality, Engineering, Industrial, etc.) or related field
